Dancing to glory: School children participating in the APSRTC diamond jubilee celebrations at the old Bus stand in Sangareddy on Friday.
SANGAREDDY: Medak district Collector addressing APSRTC’s diamond jubilee celebrations here at the new bus stand said that repairs would be undertaken to roads hitherto unfit for travel in the district. He wanted the authorities of the Corporation to submit a list of such roads so that action could be initiated on war footing. He stressed on the need for connecting each village in the district with bus facility. He advised the Corporation to be more efficient to counter competition from the private sector. He handed over mementos to winners of elocution and essay competitions held on the subject People friendly transportation. APSRTC regional manager Sadasiva Rao, deputy transport commissioner T.Praveen Kumar also spoke. Earlier school children participated in the diamond jubilee rally taken out from old bus stand to the new bus stand.
