Removal of Telugu from Group-I, II exams flayed

HYDERABAD: The Official Language Commission of the State has objected to the removal of general Telugu completely from the Group-I and II syllabus, while retaining general English in the uniform syllabus proposed by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC). In a statement here on Saturday, chairman of the commission A.B.K.Prasad said it would have been just to retain general Telugu as part of the syllabus. and accord equal status with English.
