MRPS rally put off by two days

HYDERABAD: The Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti (MRPS) has postponed its ‘Chalo Hyderabad’ rally slated for July 23 by two days in view of denial of permission by police. MRPS president Manda Krishna Madiga said the reason for police not giving permission was due to apprehensions that there would be a Mala-Madiga clash, as Mala Mahanadu was also taking out a procession the same day. —Special Correspondent
