AITUC fast on July 24

HYDERABAD: State unit of All-India Trade Union Council has called for a day’s hunger strike on July 24 to express solidarity with the fast launched by the Left parties as part of their ongoing land struggle. V. V. Rama Rao, president, and P. J. Chandrasekar Rao, general secretary, said in a statement that it was ‘shameful’ that even after 60 years of independence lakhs of acres were under illegal occupation.
