CIAL also provided 40 cents in front of the airport free of cost for setting up the station. The decision to extent financial assistance for the venture received the approval of the director board meeting of CIAL held on Thursday. The State Government had already sanctioned the requisite staff strength for the new station, the construction of which is expected to start soon, a release by CIAL said. The station was allotted to enhance the security cover for the airport, the release added. A Circle Inspector would head the station with the assistance of five sub-inspectors, including one lady sub-inspector. Besides, there would be 10 head constables and 50 constables.
