Teenaged girl ends life
A teenaged girl, who attempted suicide by setting herself ablaze at her house at Jubilee Hills on July 10, succumbed to burns at the Gandhi Hospital on Saturday. The police said V. Sandhya (17), daughter of Srinivas, ended her life after her neighbours allegedly admonished her over a trivial issue.
Techie killed in accident
A software engineer was killed after the motorcycle on which he was riding was hit by a lorry at Chandrayangutta crossroads on Friday. The deceased was identified as M. Ramakrishna (26), a resident of Madhuban Colony in Katedan.
Prisoner dead
An under-trial prisoner of Chanchalguda jail died due to health problems at the Osmania General Hospital on Saturday. D. Butchaiah (35), a native of Togutta in Medak district, was accused of killing his wife. The police arrested him recently and lodged him in Chanchalguda jail, according to the police.
