Proceedings stayed

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: The Central Administrative Tribunal here has stayed all further proceedings pursuant to a charge memo issued to A.G. Pon Manickavel, Superintendent of Police (Special Task Force), at Sathyamangalam.

Passing interim orders on an original application filed by the IPS officer, the Madras Bench of the Tribunal, comprising Administrative Member R. Ganesan and Judicial Member K. Elango, also ruled that Mr. Pon Manickavel would be entitled to engage a lawyer in proceedings against him.
