TUMKUR: The State Government has clarified that it has not sanctioned any Central school for Madhugiri taluk in Tumkur district. Addressing presspersons on Friday, Hanumantharaya, Block Education Officer, said: “Madhugiri Taluk has no Central School. The State Government has not issued any no-objection certificate to any management in the taluk.” The official confirmed that the State Government had no knowledge of the Union Government permitting any management in this regard. Complaints
The Government’s clarification came in the wake of complaints that some private managements had started admissions under the guise of Central Schools. The representatives of these managements misguided Madhugiri Tahasildar Prasanna when he inspected premises of these schools. Mr. Hanumantharaya said: “The Government has, hence, cautioned the parents against joining their wards to these schools.”
