HASSAN: Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy will lay the foundation stone for the airport at Hassan on July 30. Deputy Commissioner K.H. Aswathanarayana Gowda said 453 acres of land had been acquired for the airport near Bhuvanahalli. On the same day, the Chief Minister would lay the foundation stone for the Rs. 30-crore hi-tech market at Kattinakere in Hassan. Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda and district in-charge Minister H D Revanna will also participate in the function. — Staff Correspondent
