HYDERABAD: Information and Public Relations Department is conducting a State-level photography competition on August 19 to mark the World Photography Day. ‘Seven themes’
There will be three salons and seven themes altogether. ‘Jalayagnam’ and ‘Lakes and Birds’ will be the themes in the first salon. ‘Rural Professions’, ‘Back to School’ and ‘Changing Women’s Role in Rural Areas’ will be in the second and ‘Yuvashakthi’ and ‘Best news picture of Andhra Pradesh’ will be in the third salons respectively. A committee will judge the entries and announce first, second, third and consolation prizes amounting to Rs. 5,000, Rs. 3,000, Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 1,000 respectively in each salon. Photos taken after August 2006 should be sent in 10”X12” size with names and particulars of the participants written on the back. Details
