Selection for Haj pilgrimage

BANGALORE: The Karnataka State Haj Committee will draw lots to select pilgrims for Haj on Monday at the Conference Hall, Vidhana Soudha, in Bangalore at 3 p.m. As against a quota of 6,307 pilgrims fixed for Karnataka by the Haj Committee of India, the State committee has received over 13,000 applications and hence, the draw of lots.
