ERODE: To save the standing sugarcane, banana and other crops in Lower Bhavani Project ayacut area, water has been released into the LBP main canal from the Lower Bhavani Project Reservoir following the orders of the State Government. A maximum 2,300 cusecs of water would be released daily for 15 days, said the officials. The farmers thanked the Government for granting special wetting for 15 days.
