Royal family donates Rs. 1 lakh

Thiruvananthapuram: The Travancore Royal family has contributed Rs. 1 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund for the rehabilitation of the victims of the monsoon calamity. Head of the royal family Uthradam Tirunal Marthanda Varma handed over a cheque to Law Minister M. Vijayakumar here on Monday.
