CM decries campaign against him
Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy has asked the Telugu Desam party not to distort his remarks in the Assembly for the sake of getting political mileage.
Speaking to reporters here on Monday, he said he had not made any derogatory reference to Chandrababu Naidu’s mother.
“I wanted to say that he would have to hang his head in shame after I reply to their accusations. Hence, I said he would regret having been born at all after I thoroughly exposed him.
“I said he would rather prefer not being born at all. What is derogatory in this? Where is the insult to his mother as he and his supporters are saying?”
