BANGALORE: The Karnataka State Basketball Association has embarked on a height hunt. To build a strong second crop of players for the State squads, the KSBA has announced that it will start screening players who are six feet plus in height and to begin, it will conduct trials top pick up eligible players and put them in an intensive training mode shortly. The KSBA trials for such players will be held at Sree Kanteerava outdoor Stadium on August 11 and 12 at 4 p.m., said K. Govindaraj, secretary of the KSBA. The camps for the players will be held during the weekends. The minimum height required is six feet two inches. The KSBA has requested all teams affiliated to the Association to send their tall players to the selection trials.
