BERHAMPUR: As a precautionary measure on Monday administrative officials along with police raided medical shops and ultrasound clinics in the city. Raids were conducted on ultrasound clinics in the city. This raid involved the law and order squad of the city police, additional district magistrate and additional tehsildar. Only on Sunday two foetus were found thrown in a canal . This led to suspicion that female foeticide was continuing in the city like Nayagarh. There are 32 ultrasound clinics in the city. The officials checked the records of these clinics and took statements of pregnant women who had come to these clinics.
