SBI pays dividend to RBI

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Bank of India Chairman O.P. Bhatt handed over a cheque for Rs. 440.07 crore to Y.V. Reddy, Governor, Reserve Bank of India, representing the dividend for the financial year 2006-07, on shares held by the Reserve Bank of India, according to a release here today. The State Bank of India had declared a dividend of 140 per cent for 2006-07.
