Cheques distributed

BANGALORE: Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) on Monday distributed cheques for Rs. 50,000 to families of the three construction workers who died in a wall collapse at Rajarajeshwarinagar on Saturday. Prakash (21), Subbaiah (22) and Yahonava (22) died after the compound wall of PES College complex collapsed following heavy rain. Joint Commissioner of BBMP Rajarajeshwarinagar zone Muddumohan handed over the cheques. — Staff Reporter
