Kerala to seek legal opinion

Staff Reporter

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Education Minister M.A. Baby has said that the Government will seek legal opinion on the seat allocation process in private self-financing medical colleges.

Talking to journalists here on Tuesday, he said Tuesday’s High Court order to defer the seat allocation process for government seats in five private medical colleges by a couple of days went against a Supreme Court order that the first phase of the allocation process in medical colleges be completed by July 25. The Government will take a decision on this issue at the earliest. All necessary protection would be provided for the entrance examination being held by the managements of four private self-financing medical colleges in the State.
