Jaipur: The Rajasthan Government on Tuesday issued a notification exempting accredited working journalists from toll tax levied on national highways on their personal vehicle. The State has effected the order in continuation of its announcement made in the Budget this year. Journalist Association of Rajasthan (NUJ affiliated) and the State IFWJ, in a joint statement, have hailed the Government’s decision saying it would enable the scribes to move without tax on the highway for their professional work.
