Steps taken to curb illicit liquor

KOLLAM: Assistant Commissioner of Excise, Kollam, K.N. Mohanlal, has said that elaborate arrangements have been made for busting the production and sales of illicit liquor in the district.

The measures are in view of the coming Onam festival season, he said.

Mr. Mohanlal said that members of the public will be suitably rewarded if they pass on information on any illicit liquor activity that comes to their knowledge.

The identity of persons passing on such information will be kept a secret.
