World Kodava Fair in December

BANGALORE: The Karnataka Kodava Sahitya Academy will hold a World Kodava Literary and Cultural Fair in Madikeri from December 23 to 25.

Academy president Uliyada Dotty Poovaiah told presspersons here on Tuesday said the aim of the fair was to bring Kodava culture and customs into focus. The three-day event will feature Kodava plays, poetry and literature. The academy expects over two lakh people to attend the fair, she said. — Staff Reporter
