India concerned over Haneef’s re-detention

NEW DELHI: India has expressed concern over the re-detention of Mohammed Haneef and asked that he be “fairly and justly” treated.

India would also extend legal assistance to Dr. Haneef’s family.

The Indian High Commissioner to Australia met Dr. Haneef and said he was in “good health.”
