NOIDA: Simarjeet Singh shot a one-under 71 to take the lead at the LG Noida Open amateur golf championship at Noida Golf Club here on Tuesday. Manav Das (72) and Abhinav Lohan (73) were in the second and third position. Simarjeet started with a bogey on the first and a series of eight pars saw him make the turn at one over. On the back nine, he birdied the 13th, 14th and 17th holes to improve his position. A bogey on the 18th where he three putted from 20 feet saw him end at 71. The scores: Simarjeet Singh 71, Manav Das 72, Abhinav Lohan 73, Gagan Verma, Chikkarangappa, H. S. Kang and Siddharth Arora 75, Ajeetesh Sandhu, Fatehbir Dhaliwal, K.
