BANGALORE: Leo Hockey Club beat New Ashoka Hockey Club 5-4 in the State ‘C’ division tournament at the hockey stadium here on Tuesday. Prasanna (2nd), Gibin Sequeira (28th), Bhanu Prakash (40th) and Sujith Alwyn (43rd & 52nd) scored for the winning team. while Terence (16th), Joseph (20th), Santosh Vimal (32nd) and Warner Williams (45th) scored for the loser. The first fixture of the day between SAI ‘D’ and Star Track was not held as Star Track failed to show up. Postponed
All but one fixture in Anglo-Indian inter-school hockey tournament were postponed to Wednesday morning due to heavy rains making the ground unfit for play. The results of the completed match will be announced on Wednesday.
