Three cases of suicide reported
NEW DELHI: Three cases of suicide, including two from Indira Gandhi jhuggi-jhonpri colony, were reported in the Capital on Tuesday.
According to the police, Abu, a 25-year-old junk dealer, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a ‘chunni’ in his house. His body was discovered by his daughter in the morning.
Abu reportedly had an argument with his wife on Monday following which he allegedly committed suicide. Another resident of the same area, Laxmi, 26, allegedly committed suicide after an argument with her husband on Monday night.
Ajit, 23, a resident of Okhla Phase III, who was living with his brother’s family, was found hanging from the ceiling fan in the morning. The police said the brothers had some longstanding family dispute.
