HYDERABAD: Representatives of the European Union (EU), a group of 27 member nations, said that having invested heavily in other developed nations, the EU was now eyeing India as an emerging market. D. Kebschull, Chief Programme Coordinator, EU-India Trade & Investment Development Programme (TIDP) and A. Sahasranamam, Advisor, said while the enthusiasm towards India was growing among investors, doubts were expressed over the consistency of Indian products’ quality,lack of adequate information on opportunities and other details. With Confederation of Indian Industry (Andhra Pradesh) as facilitator, a road show was held here on Tuesday to showcase the EU-India TIDP, with the spotlight on the Federal State of Schleswig and Holstein, Federal Republic of Germany (FRG).
