Meet on truce extension convened

Guwahati: The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (Isak-Muivah) has convened the sixth Naga People’s Consultative Meeting on July 27 at the council headquarters of the outfit at Nagaland’s Hebron to discuss the issue of extension of the ceasefire between the NSCN (I-M) and the Government of India.

Convenor of the organising committee of the consultative meeting, V. Horam told The Hindu that the meeting would seek the mandate of Naga people ahead of the next round of peace talks between the NSCN (I-M) and Delhi on July 30 and July 31 to be held in Dimapur.
