CHENNAI: The top Indian women Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal could not cross the qualifying phase in the CIMB Malaysian Open squash event being held in Kuala Lumpur. Joshna had crossed the first round of the qualifying phase on Monday but fell to Engy Kheirallah of Egypt in the final round in straight games 9-2, 9-2, 9-5 to go out. Earlier, Joshna waged a late fight to ward off Siti Munirah Jusan of Malaysia in the first round. Joshna was down by two games before she clawed back to chalk out a remarkable win in 41 minutes. She won 2-9, 8-10, 9-3, 9-7 9-0. Dipika lost 9-7, 9-7, 9-0 to Elise Ng of Hong Kong.
