Selvanayagam passes away

CHENNAI: The vice president of the Tamil Nadu Athletics Association, S.M.P.

Selvanayagam, passed away here on Monday. He was 73.

A former secretary of the TNAA and joint secretary of the Athletic Federation of India,

Selvanayagam served in the field of athletics for over four decades. At the time of his death he was also the Secretary of the Thiruvallur District Athletics Association.

A prayer meeting has been arranged at the CSI Christ Church, Ambattur OT on Wednesday at 6.30 p.m.
