Students debarred

BANGALORE: About 125 students were debarred for malpractice in the Pre-University supplementary exami- nation on Tuesday.The exami-nation was held in Sociology, Mathematics, Business Mathematics and Basic Mathematics subjects.

While 33 students were debarred in Bijapur district, 23 students were debarred in Bidar district. The students in other districts who were debarred include Belgaum (15), Bagalkot (12), Raichur (9), Gulbarga (8), Haveri (6) and Chitradurga (5). Two students each from Bangalore South, Bellary, Davanagere, Koppal and Kolar districts, and one student each from Bangalore Rural, Bangalore North and Dharwad district were also debarred, according to an official release.
