A Bill seeking to provide for the creation of a Legislative Council for Andhra Pradesh and for increasing the strength of the existing Councils in other States was introduced in the Lok Sabha on July 25 by Mr. A.K. Sen, Law Minister. The Bill provides for a 90-member Council for Andhra.
