GUNTUR: Efforts are on to create employment opportunities to 25,000 unemployed youth through the Rajiv Udyogasri scheme. Preference would be given to students who passed Intermediate, diploma and ITI, Regional Employment Officer V. Himabindu said on Wednesday. Selected candidates would be provided training by ITIs and for those interested in working abroad, jobs would be provided through OMCAP, she said. She said that youth had been provided jobs in EMRI, Jayalakshmi Spinning Mills, Chebrolu, and Sri Ram Life Insurance etc. She also appealed to industrial houses to inform about vacancies to respective District Employment Offices.
