NAGAPATTINAM: Seawater has receded for 100 metres on the Point Calimere coast (Kodiakarai) in Vedaranyam in the district on Wednesday, causing panic among fishermen. However, the receded water transgressed and normalcy restored after a few hours. The Vedaranyam coast has been witnessing an unusual sea activity for nearly three months with receding and advancing of seawater once in three or four days.
