Abandoned bag creates panic

Varanasi: Panic gripped the Kashi Vishwanath temple-Gyanvapi mosque premises briefly on Wednesday after an abandoned bag was found near the shrine, police sources said.

The bag was detected by local people at Tripura Bharavi lane falling under the security zone of the sensitive shrine, sources said. A bomb disposal squad reached the spot and searched the bag only to find that there were clothes in it, the sources said.
