Ancient coins expo

Puducherry: The Thondaimandala Numismatic Society is holding a three-day exhibition on “Coins and Currencies” at Singapore Thirumana Nilayam on Mahatma Gandhi Road here from Friday. President of the society T.N. Gopiraman told newsmen here on Wednesday that stamps and ancient coins and currencies of nearly 25 collectors would be on display. The exhibition was aimed at generating awareness among the young and the old of the features of coins and currencies that were in use in the past.
