Puducherry: The Indian Dental Association (IDA) launched the National Oral Health Programme under the banner “Bright Smiles Bright Futures” on Tuesday at the Government Middle school in Lawspet, an IDA release said here on Wednesday. The programme, implemented in collaboration with the Colgate Palmolive Indian Ltd, was aimed at covering 20,000 children from different schools across Puducherry. Chief Educational Officer C. Krishnaraj and Professor K. Rajasigamani of the Raja Muthiah Dental College, Annamalainagar (Chidambaram) spoke. President of the IDA here K. Ravisankar and Dr. Ganesh participated. Students were given free dental packs. — Special Correspondent
