MLC faints

HYDERABAD: The Legislative Council on Wednesday witnessed anxious moments as Congress member Singam Basavapunnaiah fainted during the proceedings, forcing Chairman K. Chakrapani to adjourn the House for 10 minutes. As Municipal Administration Minister Koneru Ranga Rao was introducing a Bill, 74-year-old Basavapunnaiah collapsed. Later, he was taken to shifted to Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences.
