Spotted deer rescued

Krishnagiri: Forest officials rescued a spotted deer at Kuruvinayanapalli near here.

The deer had strayed from the Bargur forests into human habitation in search of food and water. It sustained injuries on its hind legs after being chased by stray dogs. Villagers alerted forest officials and veterinarians, who shifted it to the Forest Range Office in Krishnagiri.
