Goel hits out at Congress over sealing
Staff Reporter
NEW DELHI: Former Union Minister and BJP national secretary Vijay Goel has demanded that the Delhi Government come out with a White Paper and clarify its position on when it would be in a position to the save the commercial establishment in the Capital from sealing.
In a statement, Mr. Goel said the Delhi Government did not submit in time the report on providing necessary infrastructure in the city with the Supreme Court. He said it appeared that after its loss in the municipal elections the Congress was no longer interested in providing relief to the traders from sealing. Mr. Goel also accused the Delhi Government of not acting earlier on the Blueline bus issue. “The Government should have streamlined the transport system much earlier by taking necessary steps. It should have decided if Blueline buses would continue to ply or not.”
