NEW DELHI: RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Uttar Pradesh, at many places in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and at i solated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: HARYANA: Bilaspur 7, Naraingarh and Sonepat 5 each, Tajewala 4, Jagadhari, New Delhi (Safdarjung) and Sadaura 3 each, Chhachhrauli, Chirag Delhi, Dadupur and Mustfabad 2 each and Delhi Ridge and Shabad 1 each, HIMACHL PRADESH: Khairi 6, Baijnath 4, Dhundhi and Kasol 3 each, Jogindernagar and Surgani 2 each and Barsar, Chamba, Dhramsala, Kasauli, Khhu, Nalagarh, Mandi and Palampur 1 each, JAMMU AND KASHMIR: Patti 8, Bhoond 7, Katra 4 and Basoli 2, PUNJAB: Hoshiarpur, Ranjitsagardam, Ropar and Samrala 2 each and Amritsar 1, EAST RAJASTHAN: Dug and Govindgarh 4 each, Ramganjmandi 3, Beir Bhainsroadgarh, Dataramgarh, Kisanganj, Kushalgarh and Sagwara 2 each and Atru, Barisadri, Chittorgarh, Chhabra, Deeg, Jhalrapatan, Mandalgarh, Nagaur, Pirawa, Rajakhera, Sambher and Todabhim 1 each, WEST RAJASTHAN: Bikaner, Nokha, Rowatsar and Vijaynagar 2 each and Dungargarh, Kolayat and Sadulsahar 1 each, EAST UTTAR PRADESH: Balmikinagar, Kanpur and Turtipar 5 each, Gorakhpur, Khadda, Mukhlishpur and Uskabazar 4 each, Birdghat, Jaunpur, Lucknow, Regoli and Raebareilly 3 each, Basti, Bahraich, Ballia, Hanumansetu and Shardangar 2 each, and Bani, Chhatnag, Dalmau, Ghazipur and Hamirpur 1 each, WEST UTTAR PRADESH: Fatehgarh 9, Sarsawa 6, Bareily and Narora 2 each and Shahjina 1 and UTTARANCHAL: Kalagarh 5, Devprayag and Pantnagar 4 each, and Haripur, Rishikesh and Uttarkashi 1 each.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 27th JULY 2007: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region outside Rajasthan where it will be isolated. HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Isolated heavy rain is likely in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours.

FORECAST FOR DELHI AND NEIGHBOURHOOD VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 27th JULY 2007: Generally cloudy sky with possibility of one or two spells of rain/ thundershowers.
