CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Secretary Prem Prashant clarified here on Wednesday that there was no ban on “Naam Charcha” by followers of the Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda in the State. Talking to media persons here, he said that people belonging to all religions and communities were free to worship and perform their prayers according to their own rituals, customs and conventions. The State Government could not interfere in their religious routine, he asserted.He said he had repeatedly appealed to all the communities to maintain peace and communal harmony in the State. The Govt. was committed to maintaining peace in the region and no one involved in disturbing the peace process would be spared, he warned.
