New engineering college opened

TIRUPUR: Angel Group of Companies here has started Tirupur’s first engineering college at Pollikali Palayam, on Dharapuram Road, 12 from here.

Angel College of Engineering and Technology will offer following courses: BE. Electronics and Communication Engineering; B.E. Computer Science and Engineering; B.Tech. Information Technology; and B.Tech. Fashion Technology. All India Council for Technical Engineering and Anna University, Coimbatore approved the college.

According to its principal N. Gunasekaran, a total of 240 students each will be admitted into four courses.

The college has two hostels and five buses will be operated for the benefit of students to various places.
