NLC employees to strike work

CUDDALORE: The employees owing allegiance to the Labour Progressive Front and engineers and officials of the Neyveli Lignite Corporation have decided to go on an indefinite strike from August 9.

They have been urging the management to either waive income tax on perquisites or evolve a formula to compensate it. The management has pleaded its inability to do so.
