Dattatreya faults YSR

HYDERABAD: State Bharatiya Janata Party president Bandaru Dattatreya on Wednesday criticised Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy for his frequent attacks on media and said that they reflected his intolerance.

In a letter to Dr. Reddy, he said the Chief Minister’s utterances had caused anxiety to democratic-minded people.

He said that it was ridiculous that Dr. Reddy was finding fault with the same media which he had praised as Leader of Opposition.

He said the media had brought into light lapses in certain decisions, corruption at various levels and irregularities.
