Panel to probe foeticide issue

NEW DELHI: Taking cognisance of reports of the recovery of decomposed foetuses — mostly female — in Nayagarh town of Orissa, the National Commission for Women (NCW) has constituted a three-member committee to probe the incident. It will be headed by Manju Snehlata Hembrom, NCW member. Arun Kumar Mohanty from NISWARTH and Pratap Naik, advocate, are on the panel.
