Lakshmi Ring forms venture with Italian firm

COIMBATORE: Lakshmi Ring Travellers of Coimbatore has formed a joint venture with Caipo Automazione Industriale Srl of Italy to manufacture slub and core yarn manufacturing systems here. The new products were launched at a seminar here on Tuesday. The joint venture company would focus on electronic deviceswith hardware and software for the production of slub, attachment for the production of stretching and core yarns on any existing ring frame and software for simulation of slub yarn or fabric or knitting with slub/multicount/multitwist.
