India beats Sri Lanka

Chennai: The Indian under-19 team defeated its counterpart from Sri Lanka by 161 runs at the NCC ground in Colombo on Wednesday in a one-day match of the tri-series also involving Bangladesh.

The scores: India Under-19: 248 in 49.1 overs (Virat Kohli 32, Saurabh Tiwary 63, Iqbal Abdullah 49 not out, Pradeep Sangwan 26, Jayaratne five for 50) bt Sri Lanka Under-19: 87 in 29.1 overs (G.V.S. Prasad three for 20, Aman Preet Sin gh Gill three for 11).
