HYDERABAD: It looks like shuffling time for HUDA’s projects. After shifting its hotel corridor project, ‘Regal Broadway’ from Shamshabad to Budvel, HUDA is now proposing to shift the ‘Pentagon’ project – to be developed as IT and commercial hub, from Poppalguda to Miyapur. Hotel project
The Hotel corridor project was shifted from Shamshabad as it was located upstream of Himayatstagar and Osmansagar which would go against the interests of GO 111 protecting the catchment areas of the lakes. But Poppalguda posed another problem for the Pentagon project in the 200 acres of evacuees’ property land and the land was entangled in a legal dispute. Resurvey
As the matter would take time to be resolved, HUDA chose another area, 104 acre land in Miyapur and it was being resurveyed for the Pentagon project. The layout would be categorised as small, medium and large piece of lands with an extent of five, 10 and 15 acres respectively. Once the survey is ready, it would put up for auction along with the other three major projects of HUDA, two at Budvel and the one at Ameenpur, according to HUDA authorities. High networth
Budvel would have ‘Regal Broadway’ hotel corridor and ‘Menefer’- comprising villas of one acre size intended for NRIs and high networth individuals/companies. Medi City would come up in 200 acres at Ameenpur of Medak district and would be developed for Healthcare Industry. It would house medical institutes of national and international repute equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and would also have resorts with modern amenities promoting medical tourism and catering to prolonged treatments. The HUDA’s 150 acre layout in Shamshabad would be auctioned in phases as a residential layout, explained officials
