Relief for Potter fans

The triumph of Harry Potter over Lord Voldemort came as a huge relief for Potter fans in the city who have been anxiously waiting for months to know the fate of the boy wizard.

Some had even placed a bet with their friends on the fate of Harry following a showdown with the evil lord. The excitement among the fans was palpable as many turned up even as early as 5 a.m. outside bookstores, on the day of the release of the lates t novel in the series, braving rainy weather to get a copy of the book.

Book stores in the city came up with special release functions, which included reading from selected pages.
